This is our second one in five years! We love it so much because it matches the bathroom cabinet and it’s easy to clean. Looks expensive!
Not sure why there's so many bad reviews. Maybe I'm just am expert because I love ikea so much, but this was easy to assemble and although it's not going to last forever, it's sturdy enough! And my cat is a big girl at 13 pounds and uses it just fine. Only downside is litter gets kicked out pretty easily. Overall would buy again. 😊
Very easy to assemble. Pretty durable. The door hinges seem to be a bit on the flimsier side, but have held up very well so far. Very easy to clean, even when cats miss the litter box. Everything just wipes right off easily.
These are the best! No longer have to look at the Pooh in the litter box if in a semi-open area! Big enough that it doesn’t intensify odor like the smaller covered litter boxes.
Keeps the litter in. Our cats normally kicked out the litter all over the place. These keep it mostly inside and most importantly keep the dust down in the room.Only drawback is since they don't ventilate well, the ammonia odor builds up a little quicker. (Yes, we scoop it daily but it becomes noticeable whereas it would not if the box was in the room without a box around it). So it necessitates more frequent total-replacement changes of the clumping litter due to the ammonia not off-gassing in to the room air. I've started to leave the doors open periodically to let fresh air in.. We'll see how that works. We have two cats, so bough two of them. It's hit-or-miss I understand as some cats won't like the confinement. Our cats had no problem going from open-air litter pans to theseVERY happy..
