My Chihuahua mix does not like her nails trimmed. I've tried rotary trimmers and other items, but it's always a two person job. A friend told me about these harnesses. I liked this one because it had a strap to hold the dog in while you are connecting it to the hanging loops. I found this kept the harness on her and made it relatively easy for me to connect everything up by myself.Surprisingly, my dog seemed bemused by being suspended. It should made handling her paws and nail trimming much, much easier. I was just about ready to take her over to Petco on a regular basis, but this harness will save a small fortune in nail trimming and will be less traumatic for my pup.

My small dog fits nicely into this sling. We got a size XS and she weighs 4 pounds which is perfect. While she does not necessarily like being in it, it does the job by keeping her in place while we trim the nails. Do not hang it too high in case your fur baby can Houdini out. Supports the body and head well, easy to clean. Comes with a nice pair of trimmers, too.

My dog was never aggressive or anything when we cut his nails, he just would not hold still. He is totally calm in this sling which was a pleasant surprise! He even started to fall asleep!
